Clothing-Optional Gay Beaches
Rooster Rock State Park is located 20 miles east of Portland on I-84 (Exit 25) in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. At the far east end of the parking lot, take stairs down to the beach and walk east about half a mile. The clothing-optional section is marked by a sign. A parking pass or small fee is required for entry to this state park.
Sauvie Island is 10 miles northwest of Portland on U.S. 30. Turn right over Sauvie Island Bridge, and buy a parking pass at the store at the bottom of the bridge. Continue for two miles past the store, turn right on Reeder Road and go 10 miles until it becomes gravel. Look for the "Collins Beach" sign on the right.
