Beer Festivals in Portland, Oregon
Portland isn't shy about its love of beer — the city has nearly as many beer festivals as it does breweries.
Extensive events listings are maintained by the Oregon Brewers Guild and on portlandbeer.org. You can also find major beer festivals and events in Travel Portland's events calendar.
Here are some of Portland's biggest annual beer festivals:
Oregon Brewers Festival
Craft breweries from around the country bring more than 70 beers to Portland's Waterfront Park for this four-day festival, the largest such gathering in North America. Held the last full weekend of July.
Holiday Ale Fest
This winter beer festival is held right under the city's holiday tree, in Pioneer Courthouse Square. The five-day celebration, held in December, features more than 50 of the Pacific Northwest's best seasonal suds, all bracing winter ales.
Portland International Beer Festival
Each July, the Portland International Beer Festival draws more than 150 brews from at least 15 countries to a beer garden setting in the Pearl District's North Park blocks.
North American Organic Brewers Festival
Designed to raise awareness about organic beer and sustainable living, this June event serves up more than 50 organic beers from around the nation in scenic Overlook Park.
